Saints Domecoming 20th Anniversary Towel – Rebirth 2006–2026
The Saints Domecoming 20th Anniversary Towel commemorates the historic 2006–2026 milestone of New Orleans’ return to the Superdome. On September 25, 2006, the Saints played their first game back in the Dome after Hurricane Katrina and defeated Atlanta 23–3 in a night remembered far beyond football.
Its vintage-style artwork recreates one of the defining moments from that night: Steve Gleason’s blocked punt, which led to the game’s first touchdown and became closely associated with the city’s recovery and renewed spirit. The black, cream, and gold presentation gives the towel a commemorative look suited for game days, display, or a New Orleans football collection.
Twenty years later, the 2026 Domecoming celebration brought former players, fans, musicians, and Team Gleason together to honor the moment and everything it came to symbolize for New Orleans. Celebrate that unforgettable legacy with the Saints Domecoming 20th Anniversary Towel and carry a piece of the Rebirth story into the next generation.
